Apartment’s House in Handel

In 2007, I took part in Leonardo da Vinci programme as a trainee at office HTArchitecten in Den Haag, Netherland for 4 months. I have been mostly involved in project of apartment’s house in city of Handel near German border with Netherland.

Handel, Netherland, Construction finished in 2008

Project Team: Nol Hermkens, Olga Tranančíková, Martin Boleš, Aleš Berec

House comprises 12 apartments that are facing South and have a look into the community garden. Flats are distributed into 2 floors. There are 3 main vertical connections that are dividing a building into groups of 4 flats.

Apartments feature various sizes of apartments with 3 or 2 rooms. Every flat has 2 underground parking spaces.

During my stay, I have been involved with drawing of implementing plans, building details as drawings for monolytical parts as stairs and steelwork, preparing plans for construction and drawings of interior parts like tiles work for bathroom and furniture for kitchens. I have been drawing plans for plumbing, HVAC and electricity as well.

I have had an opportunity to be at construction site and do a controls of site and details.

Construction has been finished during 2008 and currently is fully occupied with satisfied owners.
